An year of dragon is here....

Though i have moved out of china , my connection with china and the love for its people and food is still there. when i look back at it the reason may be that i was born under the year of dragon and that there may be some unknown thread that binds me to china and its culture.

This is the year of dragon and i love the spirit with which chinese celebrate every new year and especially how chinese couples across the world were preparing to have a dragon baby:).

Last year when i was in china for the cny i remember how the streets were deserted, shops were closed and there were crazy long queues at all the immigration counters especially the one's for HK and Macau. I also miss the long line of people waiting outside my office to collect red packet to the extent that finally i had to act busy after finishing almost 50 or so red packets being handed over to mostly people i have seen for the first time in the office:).
